Cumin, coriander, black pepper, Garlic powder, Turmeric, Salt, Bay leaf, Rosemary, Ground Ginger, Smoked Paprika, Cayenne pepper, salt.

One Pot Mix

You'll Need:

1 Cup jasmine rice / parboiled rice (washed, drained)
1 Tablespoon tomato paste
1 Tablespoon Quay's Jollof Rice Seasoning
2 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 Cup water/stock.
1/2-1 Tablespoon sea salt
Tablespoon finely diced onion (optional)

Instructions:

  1. IF using onion, sweat in oil on low-medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
  2. ADD the tomato paste to the oil and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring.
  3. ADD in the Jollof Seasoning while stirring, to bloom for 1 minute.
  4. ADD the washed rice and stir for 2-3 minutes, until the rice is evenly coated.
  5. ADD in water or stock, salt to taste, stir, and cover the pot.
  6. TURN the burner to low heat and allow the rice to cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
  7. SERVE as is, or with your desired protein and vegetables.
