Quay’s Brown rice flour is a nutritious and gluten-free flour made from whole brown rice grains, including the bran and germ layers. It offers a slightly coarse texture and is rich in vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber.

Gluten Free Alternative: Brown rice flour can be used as a 1:1 substitute for all-purpose flour in many recipes. However, because it doesn’t contain gluten, you may need to add other ingredients to help your baked goods rise and hold their shape. Xanthan gum or guar gum are both important binders in gluten-free baking.

You'll Need:

1 1/2 Dark Chocolate Pieces, divided
3/4 Cup of Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
1/3 Cup Eggs or substitute .
1 Cup Quay's Brown Rice Flour
1/8 Tbsp Salt
2 Eggs
2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

Directions:

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Line a deep 8x8 - inch baking pan.
  2. PLACE 1 cup chocolate pieces, butter and sugar in a small pot. Heat over low heat, stirring frequently until chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. WHILE the chocolate melts, combine cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  4. ADD eggs and vanilla to the cooled chocolate mixture and whisk to combine. Fold in dry ingredients and remaining 1/2 cup chocolate pieces until there are no streaks of flour. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. BAKE until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 30-35 minutes. Let cool at leat 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
