Tigernuts are nutrient-rich tubers, distinct from true nuts, known for their fiber, vitamins, and minerals.

Tigernuts, also known as chufa or earth almonds, grow on the roots of a grass-like plant called Cyperus esculentus. Despite the name, tigernuts are not nuts; they are a type of tuber. They have been a traditional food in certain parts of the world for centuries.

Tigernuts are rich in nutrients, including fiber, vitamins, and minerals. They contain healthy fats, such as oleic acid and linoleic acid, and are also a good source of iron, potassium, and magnesium.
